Lockdown Unleashes Debut Album ‘Step Over T’

New York, NY – June 28, 2024 (USANews.com) – Lockdown, the adrenaline-charged American band with a sound infused with Metal and Hardcore DNA, has unleashed their debut album ‘Step Over T’. The album, released under SelfMadeRecords L.L.C. and distributed digitally by Earache Records EDD, is now available on various platforms including Spotify.



Lockdown, forged by the flames of corruption and greed, is a malevolent force fueled by the poisons of humanity. The band’s sound is influenced by their New York roots and has drawn comparisons to NYHC legends such as Agnostic Front, Biohazard, Madball, Leeway, and VOD.




The band consists of Eric Roi on vocals, Jeff Lombardi on guitar/vocals, Justin P. Flynn on guitar, Lorenzo Golia on bass, and Robert Proimos on drums. Former members include Doug Bohn (Suffocation) and Nicky X (Scarhead). Roi and Lombardi have a history of collaboration, having been bandmates in the original version of ‘Bile’ and the project ‘Vibrator’ alongside Chuck Lenihan of Crumbsuckers.




Proimos, who was recruited to secure the percussive backbone of the band, has also shared the stage with Lombardi in the band ‘Napalm’. Lockdown’s debut album ‘Step Over T’ features 13 tracks that showcase the band’s unique sound and launch them to the next level in their musical journey.
